LGBTQ+ people have always existed. But there’s a big gap between ‘existing’ and ‘living’ and, for too long, the queer community has been pushed out of view by societies scared of difference.

Today, this marginalised community is more visible than ever. But progress isn’t straightforward – it’s as complex as it comes – and the fight for true acceptance has never been more vital.

Through this collection, and to mark Pride Month 2023, we’ve explored the theme of visibility in a world that is still besieged by fear and prejudice. Freedom and struggle have always gone hand in hand, but struggle should never be silent. So let’s bring it out into the open while celebrating the joy – and importance – of being seen.
