There is much to find gratitude for in little, everyday things. A quiet evening spent watching tv, a hot shower, a cup of tea – these things, part of our routines, are often not given much thought. But they are representative of much more to be thankful for. 

If gratitude is defined as “the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness”, then maybe our appreciation of these things can even be used to fuel positive action for those who would consider our “little things” to be much bigger.
